Well, yes, I do A LOT of other things besides weddings, but I have to tell you, I really like doing weddings! It is an opportunity to be creative. I get to be with people on the happiest day of their life, see some really funny things and just have fun while I put it all together! I heard from a bride a few months ago that had her one year anniversary and we had done her video. She was calling me to tell me that she loved her video as much now as she did when she first got it. I had a couple here the other day viewing their video. They were reliving it all over again, because I was able to capture so much of what happened. They said I gave them the best gift they got! Thats why I love doing weddings; you give people something that will be meaningful to them for a very long time. Yea, thats great job satisfaction!
You cant always tell people on the front side what this will mean to them. They are looking at your work and they dont know these people. They dont realize the impact it will have on them when it is them and their guests on the screen. I’ve asked brides who have just finished watching thier video for the first time if I would have been able to tell them at the begining that it would have the impact on them that it did. They all say they would not have believed it would affect them the way it did. I wish it was because I am such an awesome videographer (although I dont get any complaints 
but honestly, I’ve seen people whose work was technically not very good, though the effort was there, and the clients loved it. It is the impact that seeing it from that perspective has on people. The things you didnt get to see, the people you forgot you talked to, the things you paid for but were to busy to even notice….are all caputred and presented in an entertaining way that it cant help but impact you.
Well I hope if you are a bride you dont let the day you have spent so much time preparing for go by without taking that last bit of effort to capture it in living motion so that you will have it forever.
